Cherry Creek in South Austin is a neighborhood that spans a large area and several decades of comfortably built homes. The early sections of Cherry Creek were developed in the mid to late 1960’s with the final build out of homes in the late ’90’s. Due to the age of most of this neighborhood, you’ll find large, mature trees providing lots of shade and many nicely landscaped lawns. Cherry Creek begins just south of Stassney Lane and runs as far south as Slaughter Lane, between Brodie Lane on the west and Manchaca Road to the east with a few sections stretching east beyond Manchaca Rd. Cherry Creek is conveniently located to provide plenty of shopping, dining, parks, and entertainment options. Close to schools, major roadways, hospitals and downtown Austin.
