Referred to as both The Knolls of Slaughter Creek and Stablewood, this neighborhood was built by Pulte Homes between 2000 and 2005. All the street names within the neighborhood are derived from the sport of horse racing or associated items and activities. Memorable horses such as Sea Hero, Colonel Winn and Real Quiet live on here as street names, along with things associated with horse racing such as Thoroughbred, Racetrack and one certainly can’t forget the Mint Julep!
The neighborhood features a lovely community park, play scape and pool. Another nice feature of The Knolls is that it is situated in a way that does not create a lot of through traffic. In other words, most cars in the neighborhood belong in the neighborhood rather than passing through.
Conveniently located west of IH-35 and South First Street off FM 1626 within Travis County. The close proximity to Southpark Meadows provides a variety of shopping, dining, banking and entertainment opportunities. Easy access to Interstate 35, local employers and universities.
